Song Yibo is the assistant head of Beijing National Orchestra and the chief percussion player. He is also the director of percussion Professional Committee of China National Orchestra Association and national percussion Association of Chinese Musicians Association. He graduated from the Central Conservatory of music and is now a graduate student of China Conservatory of music. He followed Professor Li Zhengui, Wang Jianhua and Professor Wang Dong successively.
