The predecessor of Jinbao musical instrument was a farm tool factory run by the town. At that time, it was subordinate to Chengguan town of Baodi County. There were more than 10 people. They were mainly engaged in repairing and producing agricultural tools. Mr. Liu Ming, then the director of the farm implements factory, actively expanded his business. In 1982, various kinds of hardware accessories became the main business, and the farm implements factory was renamed Chengguan town hardware factory.

In 1983, it cooperated with many musical instrument factories to produce musical instrument accessories. The hardware factory of Chengguan town was renamed "Tianjin Jinbao musical instrument factory", which was subordinate to Chengguan town of Baodi County. Since then, it has officially played a clarion call to march into the field of musical instruments.

In 1984, the "Jinbao No.1 drum" produced by Mr. Liu Ming was born, which was designated as the military drum for the 35th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China.

In 1985, small military drums were produced in batch and became the best seller of musical instruments.

In 1986, jazz drum with metal cavity was put into production.

In 1987, he began to produce high-end jazz drums. Mr. Liu Ming, then deputy director of the factory, was developing the supporting bracket of high-end jazz drum, and produced high-end jazz drum in the same year.

In 1989, Sax was mass produced.

In 1990, we produced a series of brass instruments - trumpet, trombone and horn.

In 1993, the factory has formed a series of percussion and wind instruments.

In 1995, Taiyang and baohao were successfully developed and put into production.

In 1997, organized by Tianjin Foreign Trade and sports import and export company, Jinbao musical instruments, which were held in Frankfurt, Germany, for the first time, began to set up overseas markets with an international vision.

In 1998, Jinbao musical instrument factory was transformed from a town run enterprise into a private joint-stock system. Tianjin Jinbao musical instrument Co., Ltd. was officially established, and its vitality was fully released.

In 1999, at the military parade marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China, the joint military band of the people's Liberation Army used Jinbao percussion instruments and some wind instruments

In 2001, the company was established as the first batch of enterprises in Tianjin.

In 2002, Jinbao musical instrument had its own booth at the NAMM show stage lighting instrument Exhibition for the first time.

In December 2003, the percussion Professional Committee of China musical instrument association was established in Tianjin Jinbao musical instrument Co., Ltd. in the same year, the copper wind instrument plant was upgraded.

In 2004, the company acquired three enterprises including Kelin food, Huasheng Electrical appliances and Hongda welded pipe, and implemented the upgrading construction of factory buildings. The wooden wind instrument factory was built, the production scale was expanded, and the Jinbao musical instrument technology research and development center was established, and the enterprise innovation and upgrading were accelerated.

In 2005, he began to design and develop Marching Percussion Instruments and marching wind instruments.

In 2007, the company implemented a diversified and multi brand business model, and the high-end jazz drum brand MES was put into the market.

In 2008, "Jinbao" trademark won China's well-known trademark.

In 2009, "Jinbao musical instrument" was used in the military parade to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China

In 2011, the electroplating automatic production line and zero discharge sewage treatment system were completed.

In 2015, at the military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of the anti fascist war of resistance against Japan, most of the musical instruments used by the United military band were made of Jinbao.

In 2015, the first Jinbao International Music Festival was founded to promote the development of the industry and promote the cultural prosperity of the country. Two sections, trombone and percussion competition, were set up.

On October 26, 2015, with the witness of experts and teachers at home and abroad, Jinbao signed a contract with blue magic of the United States to further promote the development and exchange of marching art at home and abroad.

In 2016, the second edition of "Jinsi" and "Da Yuan Bao" were set up.

In 2016, Tianjin Jinbao culture and art training school was completed.

In 2017, the third Jinbao International Music Festival set up four sections: Marching art, trombone, trumpet and percussion.

In 2018, the 4th Jinbao International Music Festival set up three sections: Marching art, horn and percussion

In January 2019, the Asian marching drum union was established, headquartered in China and operated by Tianjin Jinbao blue magic culture communication. It aims to closely contact the marching organizations and industry associations of Asian countries and promote the exchange of marching art among Asian countries.

In 2019, the fifth Jinbao International Music Festival will set up six sections: Marching art, the first Asian marching drum League Championship, bassoon trombone tuba, trumpet and percussion.
